We are looking for an organized, kind, dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate full-time dental assistant to add to our staff.
We provide care Monday through Thursday each week.
The person we hire will provide excellent personal service for our patients.
In many areas of the office, we are cross-trained and expect our staff to pitch in where and when needed.
We provide friendly, non-judgmental treatment for people that may have been away from dentistry for a while.
A great number of these people need extensive reconstructive treatments including bone grafting and dental implant supported restorations.
Oral surgical and restorative assisting skills are needed.
IV and Oral Sedation is available for our patients.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Meet, greet, & seat patients prior to treatment.
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-6 handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed such as surgical guides, articulator mountings, nightguards, mouthguards, etc.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental rooms clean, maintained, and well-stocked Schedule appointments as needed Skills needed:
Willingness, eagerness, curiosity, and desire to learn.
4 years of post-education dental experience preferred.
Dental radiographer certificate required.
BLS certificate required.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Attention to detail.
Well-organized and reliable.
