Responsibilities:
Patient Communication:
Engage with patients to explain treatment options, address their questions, and ensure they fully understand their recommended dental procedures.
Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with dentists to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients, including discussing costs, insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments.
Financial Consultation:
Provide accurate estimates of treatment costs, discuss financial arrangements, and help patients explore available payment options.
Insurance Coordination:
Work closely with insurance providers to verify coverage, submit claims, and ensure timely processing of insurance-related matters.
Scheduling:
Coordinate appointments according to treatment plans, patient preferences, and the availability of dental professionals.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and insurance documentation.
Follow-up:
Reach out to patients after treatment to ensure their satisfaction, answer any post-treatment questions, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment completion.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning.
Proficiency in using dental software for record keeping and scheduling.
Ability to navigate and negotiate insurance-related matters.
