We are currently in search of a proficient paralegal to join our team.
Duties Include:
Assist attorneys in organizing and managing legal files and documents.
Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct data entry tasks to update and maintain case information.
Transcribe dictations and prepare legal correspondence.
Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
Aid in the preparation of legal contracts and agreements.
Utilize document management systems to store and retrieve legal documents.
Offer administrative support to attorneys as required.
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Skills and
Experience:
Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication.
